Drum/Percussion Weeks

Led by John Dalton Ages: 11-16 years This dynamic workshop is designed for students ages 11–16 who are ready to deepen their skills in drumming and percussion. Throughout the week, participants will explore a range of percussion instruments including drum set, snare, vibraphone, and hand drums, while building technique, coordination, and musicality. Students will practice reading rhythms, develop their listening skills, and strengthen their ability to play as part of a group. With time dedicated to both individual technique and collaborative composition, the week culminates in a student-led performance of an original piece. All experience levels are welcome, with opportunities to challenge and inspire more advanced players.
