Jazz Workshop Week

Led by Peter Cicco Ages: 14–17 years Designed for students ages 14–17 with experience on their instrument, this workshop dives deep into the world of jazz covering styles like swing, bebop, Latin jazz, and jazz/funk. Students will sharpen their understanding of music theory, develop their ears, and expand their improvisation skills through focused exercises and group playing. Working as part of a jazz combo, they’ll learn how to listen, respond, and lead in a dynamic ensemble setting, building confidence, creativity, and connection along the way.
