Cheryl Arena

Cheryl Arena is an acclaimed blues harmonica player, vocalist, songwriter, and bandleader with an extensive performing and recording career. She has toured across the U.S. and Europe, released several albums, and earned a reputation for her soulful tone, expressive stage presence, and deep connection to the blues tradition.

In addition to her performance career, Cheryl has been a dedicated music educator since 2001, teaching private harmonica lessons to students of all levels. She also runs a popular harmonica workshop in Clarksdale, Mississippi twice a year, drawing players from around the world to study authentic blues style and technique.

At Morningside Music Studio, Cheryl coaches the Blues Ensembles, emphasizing groove, communication, and stylistic authenticity. She helps students develop strong ensemble instincts in a supportive, real-world band environment.
