
Todd Brunel

Todd Brunel is a critically acclaimed clarinetist and saxophonist with extensive experience performing as both a classical and jazz musician. He has collaborated with artists such as Judy Collins and The Irish Tenors, and has performed and recorded with numerous ensembles, orchestras, and theatre productions throughout his career.
In addition to performing, Todd is an active educator and currently teaches clarinet and saxophone at Middlesex Community College and Collegiate Charter School of Lowell. He holds degrees from Boston Conservatory and Brooklyn College Conservatory.
There is instant gratification when the participant feels the first vibrations of the reed or the strings, or the way their lips can create the vibrations necessary for sound. But the real joy and the real challenge is getting the student to love creating as part of an ongoing educational process. Music is a creative act and one of the Arts that cannot be dismissed.
