Faith Haloulakou

Voice

Faith Haloulakou is a Greek-born vocalist, composer, and educator whose music dances between jazz, experimental sounds, and Greek art and folk traditions. Her original compositions, inspired by poetry and healing texts, explore the expressive and transformative power of the human voice.

Having trained in Estill Voice Training and Eden Energy Medicine, Faith creates a playful, explorative space where singers of all levels can discover their own voice and make music that truly feels like them.

Mentors such as jazz vocalist Sheila Jordan, saxophonist-composer Steve Lacy, and pianist-composer Frank Carlberg—along with the creative spirits of J.S. Bach and Carmen McRae—have shaped her adventurous approach to sound and storytelling.

Her forthcoming album, New Skin, sets healing texts by Birds WG to original compositions, continuing her journey of vocal exploration. A Fulbright alumna, Faith has performed across the U.S. and Greece, including at Athens’ historic Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and shared the stage with artists like Steve Lacy, Sheila Jordan, and Joe Lovano.

She is a graduate of New England Conservatory (Master of Music), where she currently serves as jazz faculty for the Expanded Education Division. At Morningside, Faith teaches voice, piano, improvisation, music theory, and composition, helping students find their personal voice. She has a vision to bridge the worlds of music and energy medicine for creation, healing, and to elevate humanity.
