Kathleen Kolman
Piano, Voice
Kathleen, originally from Butte, Montana, has been immersed in music since childhood. She is a versatile artist, proficient in singing, dancing, and playing piano, guitar, and clarinet.
For years, she has been a prominent figure in the New England jazz and Brazilian music scene, with two CDs to her credit: The Dreamer and Dream On.
Kathleen holds three degrees: a B.A. in Jazz Voice, a Master's in Education, and a B.S. in Communication Disorders & Deaf Education. She has taught music across a wide range of age groups, from preschoolers to high school students, and even adults up to 90 years old.
After retiring from Cambridge Public Schools, Kathleen remains passionate about teaching. Her areas of expertise include vocal performance, vocal health, Brazilian vocals, musicianship for singers, as well as beginner to intermediate piano and guitar instruction.
She is also dedicated to working with students with special needs. Kathleen finds great joy in helping individuals discover their authentic musical paths, whether through voice, piano, or guitar.
