Laryssa Barata

Violin

Laryssa Barata was born in Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil. Music has been a significant part of her life from a young age, influenced by musical games with her mother and family. At the age of 5, she was captivated by the band playing at church, which led her to choose the violin as her favorite instrument, and she began her studies at the Conservatório Dramático e Musical Carlos de Campos.

With extensive experience playing in symphonic and philharmonic orchestras, as well as participating in recordings, Laryssa has also dedicated herself to musical education. She has worked in various schools and philanthropic projects, prepared actors musically, and trained teachers, always with the goal of spreading her love for music.

In 2008, Laryssa deepened her academic training by enrolling in a pedagogy program. In 2012, she moved to Rio de Janeiro, where she expanded her artistic horizons by studying theater at the Escola de Teatro Martins Pena. During her time in the city, she performed as an actress and violinist, and also held exhibitions in visual arts that showcased her creativity.

Now based in Massachusetts, United States, with her family, Laryssa has been passionately teaching music since 2021. She specializes in violin and early childhood music education, using engaging methods and playful activities to introduce children to the musical language. Her approach fosters creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

Laryssa is committed to inspiring her students, whether they are beginners or seeking to refine their skills. If you're looking for a dedicated and experienced music teacher, feel free to contact me to schedule a trial lesson or for more information. Let's embark on this musical journey together!
